Transportation Policy 2006 Coach Bus vs Standard School Bus Athletics: All athletic teams will ride in a standard school bus. Only a varsity team may ride in a coach bus to an event and the event must be a non-conference event and must be at least 75 miles away (one way). If you meet the above criteria, a coach bus may be used, however, the teams booster club must pay the difference. *Varsity football is exempt from this policy until a trailer is purchased by the school. *Sections and State Tournament events are also exempt from the policy. Extra-Curricular: School buses will only be used for all extra-curricular activities unless the trip is 75 miles away or more, (one way). Special Events may be exempt (ie): prom, senior trip, etc. Field-Trips: All field trips will use standard school buses only (K-12). |
