1009-I.a INSTRUMENTAL RENTAL POLICY (App. 5/00) |
ISD #534 Instrument Rental Policy Students playing school-owned instruments as their primary instruments will be required to pay the following yearly rental fees: Baritone, tuba, French horn, bass clarinet and others – $30; percussion – Grade 5 no fee, middle school – $15, high school – $30. Color guard in marching band will also pay a $15 equipment usage fee. These fees are meant to defray the cost of replacement of the instruments. Directors will have the discretion in determining whether the fee applies to students who play the instrument only for one type of ensemble (i.e., the bassoonist who plays their own clarinet for pep and marching, and the bassoon for concert band).This policy will go into effect at the beginning of the 2000-2001 school year |
