Stewartville Middle School provides quality educational programming for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  Our focus is to develop and enhance literacy skills, provide opportunities for growth, and develop the character of our students.  

Our dedicated teachers create rigorous yet engaging learning experiences that build upon the foundations of safety, respect, responsibility, and productivity.  We challenge our students to approach difficult tasks with positivity and perseverance.  Our 1:1 laptop program supports digital literacy and responsibility through innovative and engaging learning activities. 

In addition to our core curriculum, our students also have opportunities to explore art, life skills, STEAM, health, general music, band and choir.  Our students participate in our PRIDE homeroom period at the end of each day where they can complete homework tasks, have access to academic enrichment or remediation, or attend meetings of one of our extracurricular clubs.  Our BIG 3 Positive Behavior Plan develops the character of our students through being kind, respectful and engaged.
